Great post dude!

Be proud you are one of the few who understand what I was doing in THIS situation. A Guitar Center Drum Off.

On the other hand, I appreciate the comment of this one being better then that first because I took alot of the constructive crticism I collected all over the web and worked on the certain area's which people pointed out could make my solo better. It worked, and I am glad you noticed it. Thanks again man.

I lost to another dude. During the preliminary week I was the winner and he was the runner up. I had 123 points he had 100.

Store finals come and he scores a 136 and I came out with a 134.

Something weird happened, trust me.

well, if it's any consolation, in my competition, i came in second as well.

i look at it as, i've never heard of any well respected professional drummer winning a store based drum competition.

a professional is what i wanted to become, and that's what i'm doing now.

it made me work harder at what i was lacking.

"not that you need any more chops". or probably any more encouragement to be a professional.

i think you did great for the situation and would like to see the winners vid, to judge for myself.

That was the 'weird thing' that happened Nevesis... it's his new '04 "no chops left behind" program, he's outsourcing drum-offs to those with less chops. That is why you lost, sorry [img]frown.gif[/img]
